About Devin Edwards
Devin Edwards has a deep appreciation for historic firearms and the important role their design and use have played in shaping history. The son of a high school history teacher, Devin developed an interest in the lessons of the past at an early age. He spent many childhood weekends visiting the U.S. Army Ordnance Museum, previously located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, and shooting trap at Edgewood Arsenal, Maryland.
His connection to military history continued in college, where he studied under noted firearms historian and former curator of the U.S. Army Ordnance Museum, Dr. William Atwater. Among his academic credentials, Devin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Military History from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Outside Phoenix Curio & Relic Armory, Devin is the founder of Phoenix Operations Group, a Maryland-based software engineering company that supports the Department of Defense by developing battlefield analytics for the warfighter. That professional experience informs the disciplined, detail-oriented approach he brings to research, documentation, compliance, and customer service.
Devin remains active in several firearm collecting clubs and organizations. Through Phoenix Curio & Relic Armory, he continues to expand his knowledge while helping preserve historically significant firearms and the stories behind them for future generations.
